Friday, 29th of January 2010, was the deadline for submitting applications of the Biblionet program Round 2.  IREX Romania is happy to announce that, in this Round, 24 county libraries, together with their local library networks completed their online applications. The evaluation and pre-selection of the applications will be done between the 1st -12th  of February. As in Round 1 of the program, the Selection Committee will be made up of representatives of the following organizations: AmCham Romania, World Vision Romania, Peace Corps Romania, ACOR,  E-Civis, CIPE Romania and Microsoft Romania as well as representatives of IREX.

The following counties have submitted their on-line applications:

Alba, Arad, Arges, Bistrita, Botosani, Brasov, Buzau, Calarasi, Cluj, Covasna, Dambovita, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Ialomita, Mures, Prahova, Sibiu, Teleorman, Timis, Tulcea,  Vaslui, Vrancea.

The official announcement of the 18 counties and their local public library networks selected to participate in Round 2 of the Biblionet program will be done on the 25th of March, 2010.
